<p>hey dude! haven’t heard from you in a long long time! lol! i think your SAT, APs, ECs- everything’s awesome! if ANYTHING can kill it for you- it’s the GPA- as from what i know, berkeley’s pretty anal about grades. and though i know how crazily competitive your school is- berkeley probably wouldn’t (the fact that the first class just graduated doesn’t help either). oh- and try for UCLA too! :slight_smile: you’ll SURELY make it in there- they’re more EC-centric as far as i’ve seen! plus, i think with you’re better off applying to privates (they tend to be less particular about GPAs).</p>

<p>PS: you won best delegate? AWESOME! and guess who won gold WITH HONORS last year? lol. us! haha! ;)</p>

<p>trust me, i’d rather go private than to go to a public. of course the UCs are an exception to that rule. in fact, the UCs and UMich are the only publics i’m applying to. i understand that UC might be more anal about grades but I hope that doesn’t keep me out of at least one. I am indeed trying for UCLA. And UCSD too. So hopefully I’ll get into at least LA/SD. Berkeley will of course be the best among the lot though.</p>
