I called the admissions office today. They said that they haven’t even started looking at the waitlist yet. They said they’re going to start reviewing applications on Monday and that the first wave will come out sometime next week, and the lady said “that doesn’t mean the first wave comes out on Monday though”
@compSciLover But last year, the first wave came out on Monday, May 7th.
I doubt that they haven’t even started looking at them though that seems very unlikely. I think that we will get the first wave by early next week

I feel like that’s strange and if it’s true, then it makes me wonder what it could imply lol. other schools like UCLA and UCSD already had some waitlist acceptance waves, but if UCB didn’t even start looking at waitlist apps yet…
Also, I just logged on to my student portal and I have a 4 address glitch…what could this mean?
I would appreciate it if someone else called tomorrow to check what I said. It sounded weird to me too

I also called and they told me the same thing. They said they just receieved all SIRs yesterday and have not made any decisions at this point.

I called on May 1st and the person said that the first wave of waitlist decisions could come out anytime between May 1st and the middle of the month
if you dont get in, you just basically dont receive anything right
