I am a CCC transfer student and I just got accepted by UC berkeley. When I checked the condition of admission, it specifically indicated that I must submit my high school transcript with a graduation date. but the thing is.... I didn't graduate from high school. I went to a city college when I was only a junior. there's no way for me to submit a transcript including a graduation date. Will they withdraw the offer if I failed to submit my high school transcript, even though I am really a college transfer student???

Call Admissions, they’re really helpful, you shouldn’t worry, explain the situation and they’ll let you know.

(Sorry I’m biased because I work there. ;P)

Thx for ur replay~ i already emailed the admission officer(Edwina Taylor…I think ), but she hasn’t replied me yet…maybe I should just gave a call to the admission office like u said

“Must a student have graduated from high school in order to be admitted to UC as a transfer student?
No. Students who have not graduated from high school or earned a GED may be admitted to UC as transfer students if they have fulfilled the requirements for a transfer at the junior level. More information is on the admissions website here.”

it says may be admitted so its not a guarantee.

My roommate didn’t graduate high school or receive his GED and was still admitted. This was two years ago though, so I’m not sure if things have changed.

Aren’t we all required to send in high school transcripts at Berkeley?
