<p>I'm a fall admit and was just wondering if it possible to defer starting at Cal until the spring.</p>

<p>If I remember correctly, it was explicitly stated somewhere on UCB's website that you canot defer your admission. If you have some extenuating circumstances, then maybe you can try calling them.</p>

<p>I'm in the opposite situation. I'm a spring admit trying to get into fall. I have only one class to take in the fall so it's such a waste of time...</p>

<p>sucks...but I guess I'll have to deal with it because my situation wouldn't exactly classify as extenuating circumstances...</p>
