UCB economics~~~~I am so worried !!!!!

According to UCB econ condition admission, it said " You must complete all UC-transferable courses in progress or planned with an overall B average, with no grade lower than a C. "

My case is that I got only 2.429 GPA this semester. And I am going to transfer to there in Spring 2009. But, I am worried about that UCB will revoke my offer.

So, I asked the admission officers yesterday, they said they may allow me to retake some courses to make the balance to have 3.0. Now, I wonder if I can take whatever courses as long as they are UC-transferable...

Are there any people having the same situation Or have any people ever experienced this situation before?

Any people can suggest what should I do now, I am so worried !
I can study summer and fall semester.

Thanks!!!

When they said you may be allowed to retake classes to get your semester GPA up to 3.0...I'm pretty sure the classes they were talking about retaking are the ones you did poorly in to that resulted in your 2.42 for the semester. Obviously those classes are already UC transferable since they lowered your UC transferable GPA.

Those are the classes they were talking about you retaking. So I'm not sure what you mean by "I wonder If I can take whatever courses as long as they are UC transferable"...unless I'm missing the obvious.

Anyway, good luck!
