Wow, congratulation! You have so many good options. Which one are you leaning toward now?
Don’t know yet. Right now…everything is surreal… Life is ironical. The universities that I was desperately counting on waitlisted me(MIT) & even rejected me (H). Others…I didn’t even think about them much. My 1st choice since childhood was MIT/H; so it still stings. I think my mistake was applying H REA; must have just applied MIT EA. But am very blessed and grateful for what I have.
I need to let this soak in for a few days and then start researching my options.
@anonstem, if you don’t mind which state are you from? BTW, the admission process is so unpredictable…My son= is also accepted at UCB MET (EECS)…He got into cornell, waitlisted at UPenn(Wharton) & Yale…rejected at others Ivy where you’re accepted…You have got outstanding and great choices to make…Sometimes having more choices makes it difficult…but it’s nice to have problem

I have very tough choices but I think if I was in state, UCB MET would have probably been it since it would be the cheapest & the best option! It is still in at this point. I now have to visit all the prefrosh previews to get the feel . What about your son … am assuming you are from CA. Has he decided?
We are also OOS (just to get bit easier…East coast). Except for Stanford (Fingers crossed), he is going to MET. If you decide on MET and going for CAL Day, let us know. Would love to meet you there.

Thanks! I doubt I’ll decide before the end of the month. I am very conflicted now…it’s a hard choice to make. I know I’m not getting any $; so it’s full pay for me. Will let you know in May.
