I want to study materials, electrical, or mechanical engineering so that I can go into the nanotechnology field after I graduate. First of all, are these good majors to pursue for nanotechnology? And secondly, would I be better off attending UC Berkeley or Cornell?
Thanks for any help!

I think Cornell has the best interdisciplinary nano program in the country. They have a new building dedicated to the field, Duffield Hall.

Berkeley!

Berkeley students are creative in explaining nanotech:

also, Engineering just completed a new building that has research space dedicated to nanotechnology:

Gee, collegehelp beat me… :D

It is hard to beat that video. LOL I yield to Berkeley muse…
