so apparently i'm a part of the EOP program...at least i got a message on myberkeleyapp saying so...i never applied for it though i like the fact that i got into it, anyways, what somewhat confuses me is if i click on it, it says i must meet ALL requirements: low-income, first-gen, and california resident....i'm only first-gen and a california resident lol, i'm not low-income...think they'll notice??

you can always appeal…just email them about your family information…but if your annual household income is too high…you might not be eligible for EOP as they will notice it

woops, maybe i didn’t make it clear lol, i’ve been accepted to the EOP program…they’ve already put me in it apparently, so no need to appeal lol, and i’d rather not email them the info since then they really will notice it…>_> haha

just wondering if this happened to anyone else as well?

^ I applied for it but I’m not low income… I was very surprised.

I was accepted to the program as well. I think i remember checking a box or somethings on my application last year… hmm. I even got a call from a women at the school. She was checking up on me basically to see if im doing okay in the admissions process. Really nice people in that program. I guess it helps specific students with anything, such as academics. EOP is definitely not a bad thing.
