Hi guys,

I just received a message from UC Berkeley telling me to submit additional information for financial aid. Does this mean I'm in?

nope, does not mean you are in.

What did it say?

They barely started reviewing applications. This does not mean you’re in, it just means they need more information to evaluate your financial aid…chill out and wait till April 26th.

No for christs sake it does not mean that you are in. The next question on this forum will be “UC Berkeley asked me for my stool sample. Does this mean I’m in?”

That’s strange because UC berkeley also asked me for a stool sample.

@Eviity Oh man I think you’re DEFINITELY in! Congrats!

They asked me for a blood sample too…

It means you’re in! Congrats!

Asking for financial aid means they are very interested in your application and the counselors are working extra hard to ensure that you get a good financial aid package for you to decide to go to Cal instead of any other schools. You must be an amazing applicant. Good job

I’ve heard of people getting rejected even after sending their stool samples

@pacioso Oh man, what a bummer! It probably wasn’t the right consistency fit for Berkeley!

Yeah man, it turns out some people’s *$@&! isn’t good enough for Berkeley
