I plan to study Econ and something else for now, and will then try to get into the Haas Undergrad Program.

I wanted to know is UCB is as well represented on Wall Street as counterparts like Penn, Columbia, Northwestern, Georgetown, Duke, Dartmouth etc.?

Wall Street is perhaps just one of the stereotypical parameters for measurement of employment. What I want to know if an Econ major at UCB(and later, hopefully the Haas program) will be a good investment for a carer in IBanking/Consultancy?

I’ve heard it is target. Haas more-so than econ.

We are a target school, but I’m sure we’re not as well represented on Wall Street as say Penn, or NYU. Of course we wouldn’t be. We’re on the other side of the freaking country. That’s a terrible parameter to use though.

In terms of consulting I’d say we’re well represented in the big firms.

EDIT; I-Banking is not the same as ‘Wall Street’. Wall Street is a place. I’m sure we’re very well represented in the I-Bank branches on the west coast.
