but when i was there the guide advised us never get a bike cuz berkeley has the best bike stealers in the world
they walk around with chain breakers stealing bikes</p>

<p>I was there this past weekend. Bikes and skateboards were allowed on most of campus with the exception of a few of the more crowded common areas where you are supposed to walk your bike/board.</p>
