hiya!! Just got accepted into L&S today!!! bit early for celebration though and this is what I wanted to ask about.
My CC runs on the quarter system; towards the end of the most recent quarter, my granddad passed and that precipitated a major mental health spiral that culminated with me in the hospital.
I’ve since been discharged and have stepped down to a partial hospitalization program (& things are looking better every day!) but the thing is that it’s kept me from going back to school this quarter, which means I’ll be 3 classes short of completing my IGETC by the end of spring quarter.
In light of the extenuating circumstances I’ve related to y’all + maybe supporting letters from physicians backing up my story, do you think admissions would be willing to bend their policy on having to finish the IGETC at the end of spring & let me finish it over the summer? or are they known for being completely hard and fast on that policy? i’m really anxious
