Im a student at a CCC. Here are my stats:
Major: Economics
Minor: Statistics
GPA: 3.35
-President of the Economics Club
-InterClub Council Representative of the Undocumented Student Union
-In a school committee
-First Generation College Student
-Minority
-Low-Income
-Single Parent
-Economics Tutor at my Community College
-Business Owner
Volunteering:
-Church for 5 years
-After School program for at risk youth for 4 years
-Volunteered for Program that helps battered women 1 year
-Mentor Volunteer for at-risk foster youth 1 year
TAP: No
IGETC: Yes
-I have some W’s.
-I have several academic gaps.
-I had very bad grades in the beginning of my college career but I did an academic renewal so they no longer affect my GPA
-Will be done with Linear Algebra and 3rd semester Calculus by the time I transfer. So far, I only have first semester Calculus.
-GPA will be 3.5 in Spring 2017 (IF i get all A’s)

Hope you don’t mind me posting my stats here as well. I am applying to Berkeley and would like to know my chances of getting in from undergrad UC students.

-Played College Softball for two years and then stopped due to career ending injury (this is what I will adress in the personal questions part of the application and I’ll tie it to why I want to persue a degree in psychology)

-Currently runs softball clinics in inland empire to build skills for young girls
-Participated in Habitat for Humany, Walk a Buddy Foundation, and Race for the Cure
-I have 3 W’s, all from one semester.
-2 B’s so far in all of my college coursework and will be taking 18 units this semester to cover major prepwork for both UCB and UCI.
-13 units in Spring
What GPA would I have to maintain to stay competitive for UCB?
Do I have a shot of getting in?
