UCB is my 1st choice..UCLA is a far second.
Love the bay area. Currently live in L.A.<br>
These two universiies are highly ranked in my major. I'm ready for a real academic challenge!!
I feel like I've done my "time" at a community college and I want to get the most for my money after transferring.</p>
<p>I am definitely a UCLA/UCB freak. When I was a kid my favorite school was UCLA even though I never would have dreamed I would have been a serious candidate for the school. But now my ultimate dream school is Berkeley. The reason I want to transfer to UCB so bad is because the amazing academics at the school and I love the campus. I am pretty sick of Los Angeles area since I have been here my whole life so I am pretty over this scene. I love everything about northern California (except how everybody says Hell uh). I just love everything about Berk so It would be amazing if I could get accepted there. I also would love to be at UCLA since both are amazing institutions but I would prefer to go to my dream school Berkeley.</p>
<p>I've got my sights on Berkeley. I keep on telling everyone that I just want to go to a school where people are quiet in the library. I'm physically at the University of Alaska Southeast, in Juneau, and they've got this great three tiered library. I used to study up on the top tier, and when people would talk on their cell-phones up there I'd rage and imagine chucking their phone down to the bottom tier. I'm hoping that Berkeley is my quiet library school.</p>
<p>There's also the prestige of the name. I wanted to go to MIT when I was in high school, but I sucked at high school. Took a four year break from school and found that I'm great at college. CCC transfer seems like my ticket to a great school.</p>

<p>Yea I did not study or spend that much time in the library but it seemed pretty quiet. But I got something even better for you about Berkeley although it may bot really help your studying. There is a specific room in the Doe library that is only used for reading and it is super quiet. There is absolutly no talking in the room and people are not allowed to use lap tops. The room itself is beautiful and is completely furnished in dark wood if I remember correctly. But it seemed that no matter what library you went to at Berk was very quiet.</p>

<p>Well my first choice is USC bc it's bomb. But my 1 1/2 choice is UCLA mainly because it has most of the perks that I like about USC -academics -lotsa school spirit and the pluses that make it stand out for me +NOT in the ghetto +slightly less greek presence. slightly. +cheaper. lol. ++it's in wonderful L.A.</p>
