Do I still have a chance to enter UC Berkeley/UCLA? In the course of 2 years total I completed all the IGETC and nearly everything on assist available to my major, until now it's already 83.5 units which confuses me because these are all recommended for transfer but they pass the unit limit which I al also confused about because for different UC's the cap seems different. I know for UCLA on their site it says 60-90.... Maybe because not all of them transfer? Which one's do? Anyways I am worried about what my chances are of transferring into UCLA or UCB (USC??) for a Physics major (specialization is biophysics) because I got a D in one important class and had to retake it in which I got an A and it didn't affect my GPA. I also lowered my GPA by getting a bunch of C's in classes I didn't even need. I took them because my lovely mother mother knows everything and gave me all the wrong info. Anyways I really patched my act together in the classes that are for my major so.... And the way I see it why is it the school's buisiness if say I just wanted to take the classes for fun? Not their buisiness if I did well? I don't know what my major gpa is but it's defintely higher. I was a tutor for many subjects including english, math, and like all the sciences at the community colleges I went to. Along with what I listed I also took 6-8 units of music classes in the fall and spring semesters because I am a physics and music performance double major so in my opinion that''s enough doing on. With the classes listed below my gpa is 3.72 but it's probably higher because of all the music classes. What's the unit cap for DOUBLE MAJORS? I know this sounds stupid but will I have a higher chance of transferring in because I'm a girl? Most of the people in my major were guys and one of my friends told me that it's easier for girls to get acceptance in to engineering majors so.... heh AND YES, I mean I was taking well over 20 units of pretty challenging classes since spring 2012 so will they see that as impressive?? I HOPE SO.

Are you planning to apply for Fall 2014? What will you be doing between now and then?

Those two classes listed under summer there. Why?

You have classes listed through this summer (2013). What will you be doing Fall 2013 and Spring 2014? Or are you saying you have already applied for Fall 2013 - if so, you should have heard from the UCs by now.

Oh, I meant just by how it’s looking right now. I didn’t want to transfer over earlier because there was so much more that I could complete as you can see. I still have other classes I can take next year and some person at one of those college…thingies (event of some kind?) said that they accept a couple spring transfers. (I pray it’s true) I still have Organic chem 2, differential equations, and erm… linear algebra I can take. Now that you mentioned it, if they don’t accept string I’m just going to spread out the classes and maybe not take this summer?.. Also I know you can take like 2 classes at Berkeley through a cc in some kind of program so I might try to get credits that way…I don’t know!! Anyways, does it look like I can …get in? D:
