where to go for eventual medical school?
ucb, ucla?

which one has a better reputation when applying to medical school?
If there is more competition at one over the other, will it be a lot harder to maintain a high gpa?

exact same question. bump

for med school:

ucla> berkeley hands down

UCLA has a really good medical school, so I'd go with UCLA.

oh i meant for undergraduate...

berkeley has ucsf and ucla has its med school
so i guess internships can be found at both places.

but which one would be better for undergrad?

I would still say UCLA. They have really good opportunities for undergraduates, considering that there's a medical school and a medical center. Does Cal have connections with UCSF? I didn't know about that.

I'm not sure about medical school, but Berkeley overall has stronger academics. But at UCLA, you'd be more happy.

Berkeley is stronger w/ overall academics, but is known to have a pretty cutthroat pre-med program. UCLA may be the better choice.

I would choose UCLA because of its connections to the UCLA Medical Center.
