For ucb/ucla is it harder to get admitted during the fall or winter? Also is it hard for a bio major to get into ucb/ucla?

Unfortunately UCB/UCLA do not have an application filing period for the winter. UCLA does offer it for particular majors, but bio is not one of them.

Here is a link that shows the profile of admitted transfer students by major to UCLA.

According to page 5 of the UC Berkeley Transfer Brouchure, Biological Sciences had a 41% admit rate for the Fall 2008 term.

do they have spring applicants?

UCLA

Can’t apply for any other quarter except Fall *some majors are exceptions.

They don’t offer spring/winter admission to admits who applied for Fall.

Berkeley

Can’t apply for any other semester except Fall.

They do offer spring admission to some admits who applied for Fall.

ok thank you : D

You need to do some research before you ask stupid questions like this. Look back before the UCLA hysteria and theres a bunch of topics like this.

^^^

You need to learn some manners. Why couldn’t you just politely suggest using the search function? Posts like yours do not benefit anyone. They just start flame wars.

I used to be more caring, but after seeing hundreds of these I really dont, I used to have other logon names, I just forgot them all. I have been here for like 2 years though. I honestly don’t think someone who doesn’t have the ability or mental awareness to search first will get into UCLA or Cal.
