UCD accept rate = 68%

UCD SAT: 1050-1290
UCI SAT: 1090-1310
UCSB SAT: 1070-1320

UCD accept rate: 68%
UCI accept rate: 59%
USB accept rate: 52%

this is from this years US News, go log on to verify. previous years data is similar, UCD always behind UCI and UCSB in objective cateogrys

Well we will just see when the new information comes out since UCD had a 7% increase in applications this year. The greatest of all UC schools. (next closest was 4%)

Are those the old 1600 SAT scores?

yes, this year is still printed out of 1600 by usnews. check usnews for the top 2 schools it shows data for.

have you actually looked at the rankings of the schools?

i am pretty sure ucd is above uci and ucsb.

have you actually looked at the rankings of hte schools?

if u login u will also see that
UCD SAT: 1050-1290
UCI SAT: 1090-1310
UCSB SAT: 1070-1320

UCD accept rate: 68%
UCI accept rate: 59%
USB accept rate: 52%

im talking about the overall rankings of schools, not scores.

acceptance rate can be anything. you can have a bunch of really smart kids apply to one school and dumb kids apply to another to change the acceptance rate.

it may have not come out correctly or perceived correctly but my point is that you can only take the acceptance ratio to an extent.

I am not trying to "start a cc fight" or taking any sides but in that link doesn't it show that UCI is ranked higher than UCD? 44th vs 47th?

i just checked and ucd and ucsb are tied and uci is above.

but i am positive the rankings were different before and i am sure ucd is above ucsb previous year. so they are on par now.

previously, ucd was behind both uci and ucsb

according to us news 2006:

umm..that's what I see.

LOL. I remember someone (voiceofreason I think) argued that it's actually only four ranks above because there are three 45's.

read my post above. i might have clicked 05 and posted it as 06. i accept wrong full doing here.

haha this thread makes me laugh...i like it

well it looks like UCD is ranked lower than the other colleges...no doubt about that

two flames don't make a right
