Socal. Pending. No tag.

I’ve never been to Davis. What do you guys like about the school? I’ve been doing research and it seems like a really good school but I don’t know too much about the surrounding area and atmosphere?? Can anyone give their opinions please :)

I google mapped it once. I uhhh… saw squares of land.

I did too. I saw the same thing. lol. But they offer really good internships and research oppurtunities… so it looks like a really good university.

I was so dumbfounded hahaha. But I hear it’s pretty good for engineering.

the campus is awesome. it has a more collegiate feel then the other campuses that i’ve been to except UCB, and the people are really chill. Around the school is all basicly farmland, but once your in the UCD area, it looks nothing like a farm, more like a suburb. ive also been to a couple of davis parties and they are pretty wild.

^That’s what I hear from people too. They say school spirit’s pretty awesome. I just wish it were somewhere in socal haha!

I heard it’s like a ‘midwest’ college but located in California… I don’t know what that means but it sounds interesting. Doesn’t it rain alot in Davis?

When I first went on campus I was like man there are a lot of trees.

I feel a little better knowing others that have the tag are still pending just like myself.

I live in Sac. (10 mins from Davis) Davis is a REALLY laid back place, casual- flip flops, tanks and shorts. Everyone rides cruisers everywhere, nice downtown, fun social scene. Easy going people, affordable, tons of trees, small college town, amazing transportation for UC students, 45 mins from San Francisco, 10 from Sac., 1.5 hours from Tahoe. It’s a top rated school and a fun, chill place to go to school.

Anyone ever been to Chico or even heard of it?

The only time I hear about Chico is when they’re talking about the Cal State.

How many students commute to UCD by car… or does everyone just ride bikes?? I’ve heard of Chico the state school in norcal?

chico has the best looking students.

Chico was my backup school if I couldn’t get into or afford Davis. I’ve gotten mixed reviews on it. I’ve heard that it’s a party school and that it isn’t really academically all that great. But then again, my Western Civ teacher got her degree there and she says it’s awesome.

I heard it’s like a good college town and people are friendly. I’ve heard kind of the same things from UCD and Chico… But UCD has really good research programs

PENDING. gosh.
3.7, no TAG, IGETC, econ.

Still pending. Apparently, the decision will be released in late April.

Pending, no TAG, econ, good stats

In at UCSD & UCSB. Two days in a row of admissions, if UCD woulda let me know today that would have been three days in a row of (hopefully good?) news.

About the Chico thing, a girl I know who goes there loves it. It’s a really cool looking brick building-style campus. I visited it once, but nobody was there because school wasn’t in session. Chico is a total college town, if that makes any sense, lol.

congrats but i doubt UCD is gonna give out admission today… i think mid april from what they are saying…
.
mine’s still pending too :(
