UCD Admissions, courses w/prerequisites?

<p>Who enforces courses that has prerequsites? If I sign up for a course but have not yet fulfilled all the prerequisites for that particular course, will I be dropped by the computer system when the winter quarter starts?</p>

<p>I am thinking about signing up for EEC 110 this upcoming winter quarter, but the prerequisite for the class is EEC 100 and EEC 140. I have already registered for EEC 100 for winter and most likely will take EEC 140 next fall quarter. </p>

<p>Can I still take EEC 110?</p>

<p>I believe the professor of the course, perhaps the department, will be enforcing the prerequisite requirements. I would check with an academic adviser to make sure.</p>
