UCD(CS) vs UCSD(Physics)

Hi everyone,

I’m really struggling between UCD and UCSD. I got admitted to computer science at UCD and physics at UCSD. I would prefer to study computer science as my college major.

Should I choose UCSD and attempt to transfer to CS? Or should I just go to UCD and continue computer science?

I know UCSD is a better school for CS because it has much more resources and probably has better internship opportunities. But the transferring process (according to UCSD’s website) is basically a lottery ticket with unknown chance of getting in.

If CS is want you to study and you got a direct admit into UCD, I would favor UCD over UCSD. Changing into CS is extremely difficult and has been by lottery the last few years.
