<p>I haven’t seen any recent threads concerning this topic so I decided to start this and see where it goes heh.</p>
<p>I’m currently the captain of my school’s speech and debate team and have been for the last 2 years and I really enjoy participating in debate tournaments(I personally compete in Lincoln-Douglas, Parlimentary debate, and Controversy/Public Forum/Ted Turner). The overnight stays, the actual debating, and the general intellectual atmosphere is just something I love and I wanted to continue this into college. I’ve found and looked around the UCD debate team’s website but besides that I haven’t found any other info on it.</p>
<p>I was mostly wondering how many other people on this forum were part of high school debate teams and how many would be joining?</p>
<p>Might as well get to know some potential teammates early heh.</p>
