The new UCD Tag requirement states that a student must be enrolled FULL TIME his/her spring 2011 semester. Exceptions are possible.I'm a part time student this spring and was part time last fall also. This was due to family issues and I'll be overloading this summer/fall and spring 2012 before transfer to make up for this (I'll have 67ish units by the end of spring 2012). Is anyone in the same boat as me? Does anyone have any insight to this?

Bump. I need info please haha.

Does a UC Davis representative go to your CC’s transfer center, or any other local ones? They may be able to clarify the exceptions for you and answer any other q’s.

Hey Vikram, I’m currently a part time student and I’ll be a part time student for all of next year. (Will complete 65 transferable units)

I came to the conclusion that I’m not going through the headache and possible rejection of TAGing to UCD.

I’m going to TAG to UCSB and just apply to UCD through general admission. That’s pretty much my plan lol.

Yeah I don’t want to risk it. I’ll contact my advisor and check though! Just in case

My counselor said they’re more strict about the fall-spring and that she hasn’t seen anyone’s TAG get denied for that yet. I’ll just wait and see!

i decided ill just TAG to Irvine & Apply to Davis directly. dont i get two more, ill probably do UCSC & UCSB.

^ I have a feeling I should do that too.

^■■■■■ because of the math requirement im being forced to do the reciprical, TAG to Davis & apply straight to Irvine.

@OP I’m sure davis will make exceptions to this new requirement but you could always TAG with another UC and just apply directly and get accepted both ways:)
