So I did a TAG with Davis this september for an Envi Sci major. I had exactly the required 2.8 gpa for the first 30 units, and it then told me to maintain a 2.8 for 30 more units. However I slipped up and it looks like for this fall semester (14 units) i might get around a 2.6-2.7..... so my question is, did that void my contract, or is it an overal 2.8 for the full 30 units i need.
...that might not have made too much sense, thanks though in advance!

I would report this as a coursework change when you receive access to the MyAdmissions site. The adviser working with your file will review the situation and report the decision to you since they will have all the information then to answer your question.

when am i able to go to the myadmissions site?

You should have access to the MyAdmissions site by the end of January. Please contact the office early February if you have not received the confirmation email from our campus by then. As always, please check your trash, junk or spam folders since our messages can be incorrectly filtered.

UCD Admissions...
I have a question for you. My husband applied to both Cal & UCD w/ UCD TAG. He had quite a few credits from a trade school (prior to ccc) that we did not expect either of the UC's to consider transferable. He is transferring from a CCC and when he met w/ both the UCD rep and then later w/ the Cal rep there was a problem. UCD is accepting more of the credits than Cal. Since he didn't earn all of the units at just a ccc the unit cap applies to him and UCD said that if takes any more classes he will be over the limit, however one of the classes is necessary for Cal. So he had a choice, take the class needed for Cal and go over the limit for UCD, or be short a required class for Cal and be ok w/ UCD. He decided to take his chances and take the class. Now he is over the limit even though he has his TAG. My question is: will that effect his TAG right away? Can he petition the unit cap for UCD?

I would make sure he meets with the UC Davis representative if they are available on a regular basis, since they are familiar with the evaluation they have completed. Please understand that different UC Campuses have a different unit limitation. Once a student reaches and exceeds UC Davis’ 80 semester (120 quarter) unit limitation the TAG agreement will be void and will no longer offer a guaranteed admission for the student. However, the application will still be reviewed and submitted for review considering the unit number. There is no need to petition since this is a normal process for application reviews.
