I'm undeclared at all three schools, and have visited each. I'm kind of leaning to a degree in some kind of medicine, and plan on going to grad school. I'm from San Diego, so UCSD would not be much of a move at all (just a different part of SD county). As far as finances go, for me, it's pretty much the same cost everywhere (at least the first year), and I'm not so sure about afterward. I'm looking for a work hard, play hard kind of school. It doesn't have to be a crazy party school, but I definitely want to have an alive social life to relax after studying.

um so im picking SD over davis and i didnt apply to SB.

my friend pick SB. she said the enivorment is pretty chill. the beach is litterally right outside your dorm unlike SD where you have to take like a 10 15 min walk. parties are crazy if you are the party type. halloween is suppose to be a big hit. and everyone bikes.

Davis. o0o that was though. i was deciding between this and SD. i went to decison day and fell in love with the school. REALLY GOOD FOOD! but over time i might get sick of it…maybe. haha i like how it was more racially diverse than SD and the school does not smell like COWS!! umm it wa allright the dorms were far off better than SD for sure. ppl not bad looking. really nice and relaxed enviorment and everyone bikes as well.

but even so i picked SD in the end. it just fit me better personally. i like the 6 college system. im not going to a college to be friends with the entire school but in a sense being really close friends at my college. I dont feel lost at SD cuz even though it was so big, the system gave it a small college feel. the dorms are a bit cramp for my taste but the more the merrier. the enviorment is beautiful the beaches are to die for. also i wouldnt worry too much about the antisocial life at SD, im sure there will be parties for you to find. plus you didnt work this hard to get accepted into SD to just party. everyone there was actually really friendly to me. very approachable. i went with SD since i felt it would provide me with more opportunities.

another q - say i were to go to ucsb, and to my knowledge they do not have a set pre-med program (since there is no med school), but i decided i wanted to go to medical school after my undergrad. would this hurt my chance into getting into that kind of grad school if i don’t go to a school with medicine? i understand it would probably be better if i did, but i wanna know if it’ll certainly hurt me if i don’t.
