UCD Unusual Appeal

Hi,
I'm a transfer student from a California community college. I was admitted to UC Davis for Fall 2009 and even submitted my SIR (Statement for Intent to Register). However, due to unfortunate and unexpected circumstances, I had to leave the state and was unable to adequately contact UC Davis Admissions to give them all of my transfer information (transcripts, etc.) Consequently, my admission has been rescinded.
My question is, how do I get re-admitted so that I can attend the Winter 2010 quarter? I fulfilled all of my requirements and just need to get them the information. If anyone knows how something like this works, please let me know,
Thanks.

You should probably ask the school. I doubt you are going to get an adequate answer from a forum consisting mostly of transfer hopefuls.

call your admissions officer (contact info is in your admissions packet and e-mail) and ask them what your options are. My guess is that you’ll have to reapply again to go to any UC. In the applicaition you’ll be able to explain the absence in your education.

best of luck and sorry for you unfortunate situation
