<p>Participating students will receive free round-trip transportation from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to UC Davis, accompanied by a UC Davis representative. The flight to Sacramento departs at 7:50 a.m. and the return flight to LAX is scheduled to land at 7:55 p.m. You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the airport, so please plan accordingly. Lunch will be provided.</p>

<p>sounds pretty cool... paid trip to visit them. anyone going?</p>

<p>Yea I just got the email and it seems really cool. I really want to do the trip but I feel bad because I know I am not going to go to Davis. But I really want to see the campus.</p>

<p>I wouldn't feel bad. Maybe you'll choose Davis for grad school. Or maybe you'll go back and tell your friends how cool it is. Or whatever. Unless they've stated that you should be concerned about this issue, you shouldn't.</p>

<p>I got accepted but didn't get that email. Maybe it's because I'm stationed in Germany? I just so happen to be flying into LAX in the next few days. What were the details of the free flight?</p>
