UCD vs. UCSB sports

<p>Hey I'm big on soccer, but i like other sports as well like basketball, football, etc, which school has a better sports environment?</p>

<p>UCD wins this hands down. Davis is one of only three UCs that fields a football team. UCSB is strong in many things, but football isn’t one of them. </p>

<p>UCD has Div. I sports and a huge intramural program.</p>

<p>^False. Davis does have a football team, but not the best team in Division IAA by far. UCSB doesn’t have a football team, true, but it does have Division I sports, and has better average attendance figures for most sports compared to UC Davis. </p>

<p>Since you said you like soccer, UCSB is a great place to be. It has a premier soccer program which won the national championship in 2006 and led the nation in average attendance the last two seasons. And while Davis claims the Aggie Pack is the largest student run spirit organization in the nation, I don’t think the fans have the fever like UCSB fans do. See here for proof:</p>
