UCF Acceptance Question

Accepted to UCF! Have a question on the web-site. In the self-service section of the site, I see the announcement that I have been accepted. Under it is a paragraph about the $200 non-refundable admission enrollment deposit along with the accept and decline buttons. I’m not sure if I’m going to UCF or not as I am still waiting for decisions from other schools. My questions are:

  1. Am I supposed to hit the accept button and just not make the payment yet?
  2. Will not having hit the accept button stop me from getting any merit awards?
  3. Does UCF need the completed FAFSA prior to offering any merit?

We did not hit accept or pay the deposit and my son received merit. I’m not sure about the FAFSA. We completed the FAFSA the day it came out. It was very easy.
