Decision: UCF is my backup if I’m not accepted to UF in February, visiting UCF again soon to speak to advisors
@kiraelena99 can you let me know your status after being deferred? I have the same stats as you and really hoping to get accepted after being deferred. Also, did you get into usf?

Comments: I submitted my application sometime in mid-October and just got my decision back a couple minutes ago. I’m absolutely thrilled to have been accepted!
How long did it takes you guys to receive the acceptance status? I’m right next to UCF and it’s been three weeks and they haven’t gotten back to me. I applied with a fee waiver and they said to send it through mail yet my fee status is still waiting?
@senior2k17 my two sons applied on 9-5-16 and one was accepted on 9-15-16 (under the Top 10 Knights program) and the other was accepted on 10-18-16. So it was 10 days for one and about 6 weeks for the other.
My daughter’s status was still waiting for her transcripts. We sent them twice and they still never processed them. I had to overnight them to my other daughter that is already at UCF so she could walk them into admissions. If you can walk them in, it will expedite the process.
Got accepted yesterday!

applied through common app and took about 4 weeks to receive acceptance. I didn’t find out until I got the letter in the mail so if you’re having trouble getting your myUCF login just bother admissions to help you with logging in and they’ll end up transferring you to tech support and you can get your myUCF ID password and username from them. Turned out that they put my email into the system incorrectly when they registered me (or something like that)
accepted into USF, UNF, and UCF so far (waiting on FSU and UF)
Ugh. Applied around a month ago and absolutely nothing…going on a visit to show interest in two weeks and am going to bring them my updated transcripts from first semester (full time dual enrollment) and a letter of rec from a college professor…anyone think this will help my chances? ACT is 26 but my GPA is only a 3.5 (for now)…any feedback is helpful! I applied for summer. I can’t be the only one that feels so jittery about UCF admissions as they are so unpredictable!
I have the same stats as you, applied a month ago and I just got into FAU. How long did you wait? I dont want to wait too long to make a decision because i applied for both in summer.

On a separate note, I live very close to UCF and have spoken to advisors who say that UCF really favors dual-enrollment students who keep their GPA’s up within their dual-enrolled college. I feel like the 23 dual enrolled courses that I’ve taken was the strongest part of my application; Hopefully strong enough to get me into UF! (fingers-crossed)
@Maryland17 . I’ve sent everything on October 27 and still nothing yet. My friend applied around the same time and got in last week. We’re both qualified for Top Ten Knight being Top Ten at our high school (which is close to UCF). Anyone knows why my acceptance is taking so long? I called three weeks ago and they said give it 5-7 days for processing to be done?
Yes, I’ve visited both UCF and UF and actually found that I like the UF campus better. However, I’m due for a more recent visit to all of the Florida campuses (UCF, FSU, USF, and UF).
