Thank you guys!!!

@Florida2015-My son was just accepted for Summer with almost the same stats (more AP’s, however). His file was complete on October 8th but he did not here back until November 10th so don’t freak out just yet :-)

I also had a very nice letter of recomendation from the teacher who gave me the award in Bio if that also helps

LucSamoun you are well below the avg GPA (WG:3.8) and the avg ACT score (27).
I have a friend who was denied because he had a 24 ACT. They told him that in order for them to consider him his GPA would need to be really high with his test score.

But with an amazing essay and a really good recomendation letter you might be able to get in. I would be prepaired for my back up school though.

I have a 3.7 WGPA and a 27 ACT and I am worried about being accapted.

Good luck anyway. I hope you get accepted, seems like you really want it!

Status: Application decision pending
Applied for: Fall (I’ve heard you’re automatically considered for summer if you apply for fall and don’t get in though?)
I applied mid-September and my profile was complete around October 14

My only general ed. core class has been math throughout high school.

I plan to major in English and become a book editor and I want to be an author someday.

Anything Else: I put a ton of work into my essay and had it read over multiple times. My Accelerated English 11 teacher wrote me a nice letter of recommendation. Also, I am very involved with the author community. I beta read for my favorite author who also happens to have an international best-selling author. Another author I am friends with wrote me a great letter of rec as well and she was a student at UCF. They just had an article written about her a few weeks ago.

I’m starting to get worried about my application status! I’ve heard of so many people having to wait a really long time to hear back, I’m hoping I can hear from them soon!

How long did everyones admission process take? (How long after you sent your transcript did you hear back for the Fall term)?

They say it takes about 4 to 6 weeks.

How long did it take you guys to get your NID? I submitted my app 2 days ago and i keep trying to get mine but it can’t verify it.

I just heard back today so I’m not sure whether to accept. It is my first choice so I probably will.

Do you know why they want you to start in the summer?
