I sent my creds in about two and a half weeks ago.
I have a combined critical reading and math score of 1270- thats 620 CR and 650 Math and a total score of 1970 with a score of 660 on writing.
I haven't really been in a lot of clubs persay but, I was in Chorus for two years and Journalism for three years (including this year) and I've played piano since I was five and gotten a superior at Festival and an Excellent in chorus for solo and ensemble. I'm also in Quill and Scroll honor society, national honor society and Tri-M Music honor society. Sadly, I got a C in the one and only Dual enrollment classes I've taken. I've gotten 95 hours of community service so far. That would be 75 in MOSI and 25 in Metropolitan Ministries. My gpa, however, is lacking some. I have a 2.94 unweighted and a 4.8 weighted. My recalculated college gpa would therefore, be around a 3.6. I'm very worried about my chances at the school and very anxious to hear more. It says that my application has been reviewed and they still don't know their decision. I have turned in all my sat scores and act scores (although I got a 24 average on that. . . which was dissappointing) and transcripts. So, I was wondering what my chances would be for the fall semester. . . ?

Aproximately .768146372953 (repeating)

To be honest, I think you’re stand a much better chance in the summer term. You have very good EC’s, and a 24 ACT isn’t bad at all. However, it’s not the ideal ACT for summer. There is a user on this site, who has been defered for summer, with a 24 ACT. I also know an individual who was rejected, for summer, with a 28 ACT-about a 3.4 GPA, too, as well as many sports and captain positions. My brother was rejected for fall with a 23 ACT, and about a 3.7 Unweighted. I also know an idividual up here, who’s a friend, who was rejected for fall with a 3.9 GPA and 26 ACT. I know the admissions claims that, if they don’t want you to start directly in the fall, they’ll offer summer. However, they didn’t offer my brother summer (even though he’s in the middle 50%) and many others. If you’re really worried about your chances, I would suggest reactivating your account for the summer term. UCF is getting harder to get into, with every passing day, and sometimes it’s better to be safe then sorry. However, if it’s not your first choice, and you’re not willing to even attend summer, keep it as your fall pick, and see how it goes. I wish you the best of luck:)

^ OP is in state tho, so that helps him out a bit…

Very good point, while all these other individuals, other then two, were out of state. My brother was considerared in state, as well as the individual with the 26 ACT (he was from Florida, too, with prepaid). However, there’s no doubt that being in state is a good thing to have on your side.

i think you should be fine because your SAT score is really good. when compared to the act, it is about a 29-30 which is extremely good. you also have really good ECs and community service as well! good luck! i think you’re completely fine.

^keep in mind most florida schools dont care what your writing score was.

I just got accepted today for Fall 2012, I had a 26 ACT,0 community service hours, and a 4.09 recalculated GPA

You shouldn’t be worried at all
