Hi! UCF is my top choice and I would like input on whether or not I have a chance of getting in.

-My GPA is currently a 4.4

  • I taken 5 Ap classes and passed 2 of the exams
  • I have accumulated around 30 college credits through dual enrollment
  • SAT: 1140 (taking again )
  • ECs:

    -I was the student body secretary and and currently the student body vice president.
    -I am also the Future Business leaders secretary
    -I also am really involved with my church and am on the leadership team. I have worked on various mission trips.
    -My other ECS are: SGA ,prom committee, FBLA, ,cheerleading, interact, NHS, key club , varsity club and i’m a board member of my city’s youth council.
    -I have over 300 volunteer hours
  • I have a part time job at a restaurant
  • I am the event coordinator for a non-profit organization helping a village in west africa
  • I have been an avid student leader for two years
  • I won a district award in global business ( i would like to major in business admin/ non profit management)
  • I have organized a hurricane relief drive and have been a leader for a homeless relief project in my city

I am super worried about my test scores , all advice is greatly appreciated!!

Oh and I would prefer to get into the Fall term because of my summer mission work :slight_smile:

You are right to say your SAT is a tad low. However, considering your ECs and grades, you should get in just fine. Consider taking the ACT to see if maybe you are just bad at the SAT. Your grades and DE credits point to you being reasonably smart, so maybe you just aren’t good at the SAT.

Did you get in?? I have similar stats and am still waiting to hear back.

FWIW my dd has 93.3/100 gpa and 1210 sat, applied with two DE class A’s - applied for Fall and got Summer. But we are also oos, so YMMV.
