Is it true that you if you live in Florida and you are in top 10%, you automatically get accepted?
Basically yes. Look on the ucf website for more details. https://admissions.ucf.edu/toptenknights/
Thank you so much. Yes I now see the other requirements too.
Good luck!!
Go knights!
Lol go knights. I am still gonna apply to UF too and FSU. I like them all. More UF and UCF though. Whoever offers me the best financial aid lol
Also thank you @ ufmomfriend for your help
If you want to post your stats, maybe someone can give you some advise on acceptance…that is if you want any. And what is your intended major pray tell???
I wanna double major. Most likely biology and biomedical sciences.
My stats are pretty great for UCF. I am above their freshmen profile in GPA and stuff like that. Just a little down from their 75th percentile of SAT. But I am in top 10% ( 19 out of 833 people) and I have a hard courseload and many EC and over 500 volunteering hours as well.
Great. Top 10% gets you in. You didn’t give specifics, but perhaps you can get a Pegasus scholarship…top is $14000 over 4 years. If you are National Merit…Provost is around $30000 over 4 years. If your scores are good …apply to Burnett honors college… if they are high enough, Burnett Medical Scholars could be great for you. The higher your act/sat, the better. You will know your scholarship not long after your acceptance.
UF doesn’t hand out much money unfortunately, chances increase if you are national merit.
I think top scholarship at FSU is about $10000 for 4 years…maybe more for national merit, but I’m not certain.
I don’t know if any of that helps, but that’s my 2 cents. Good luck and Charge On!!!
Yes sorry about not going in specifics. I just didn’t have time to do it and I also knew my chances is pretty high to get in. Scholarships, maybe not but I got a 1270 on SAT, my first try without studying.
I am gonna do my second sat in August so hope I can bring my score up since I’ve been doing khan academy.
