<p>In the latest USNews rankings for 2010, the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) is ranked 73rd in the nation (University</a> of Central Florida - Best Engineering Schools - Graduate Schools - Education - US News and World Report). Obviously, most of the individual departments are also ranked within Top 100. CECS was ranked 80th and 86th in 2008 and 2009 respectively and has been consistently ranked in the Top 100 engineering schools in the nation for the last 5 years in a row. Hopefully, it will be within Top 50 in the next 5-8 years. The Physics/Optics and Education programs are also ranked within Top 100.</p>
