Hey guys I really need some help on knowing my chances of getting in to UCF. I am originally from England and moved to Florida my freshman year of high school.
My gpa:
*Cumulative GPA: 3.3478
*Academic Core GPA: 3.5484
*Weighted Cumul. GPA: 4.3182
Extra curricular:
*Varsity swimming
*J.V Softball
*NHS (treasurer)
*BPA
*French Club (treasurer)
*Interact Club
*Student government Assoiciation
*Environmental Club
Volunteering:
*North Broward Hospital
*Church - New life (I help teach english to the children since I am half Brazilian)
*Middle School
*I teach dances to the entertainers for the company Kids Fairyland
Basically I think I have good extra curricular’s but my test scores are really holding me back, I’ve taken the ACT and SAT three times each and my highest SAT score is a 1400, and my highest ACT score is a 20. I’m signed up to retake the ACT in September. I have difficulties in the English section as I am from England and we have a different grammar system.
But do you think I have any chance of getting in to UCF? Because thats my dream school and would it be a bonus if I say i’m from England and I had to move to Florida with my parents and learn the American way of life such as your grading system and taking the SAT and ACT, and also mention that I am half Brazilian? I was also wondering if I wanted to do early admissions for UCF when would be the best time to apply? Could I send in my application and then send my ACT score in after I retake it September 12th? because I don’t think I would get accepted with a ACT score of 20.
Please help me.
