UCF Fall 2021 Admission

My son applied to the Fall 21 term the day applications opened. The application status has changed to “Your application has been submitted and processed for the Fall 2021 term.”
It also says a SPARK form will be emailed in late August and need to be completed. They do have his ACT test scores from the beginning of his Junior year (29) He has not yet been able to retake it. His HS transcripts have also been received.

With it saying the application has been processed, shouldn’t there be a decision or am I reading their verbiage wrong?

Thanks!

Leigh, I can’t answer your question but you will likely get better responses if you post your question on the UCF forum. We can’t post links on this site, but if you follow the following sequence, you’ll get there.

Home/ College Admissions and Search/ Colleges and Universities/ Alphabetic List of Colleges/ University of Central Florida

You can also email or call UCF’s Undergraduate Admissions office. They are very responsive, and very helpful. Good folks.

You may have to be a little patient. UCF just started classes Aug 24, so they may not be processing applications yet.

Hi I’m not sure where to ask this question but I’m a little nervous about applying to UCF because my stats are low.
My stats are:
SAT: 1120
ACT: 22
GPA: 3.1UW 3.7W
I’ve also only taken AP classes and honors only…if that makes a difference?
I’m also still studying and have registered to retake both the SAT and ACT
I’ve also heard that UCF doesn’t care much about EC but i think I have a lot?
I was also wondering if you didn’t get accepted into the fall term, could you apply for the summer term?
So basically I really want to go to UCF but…do i have a chance?

I do know of people that have recently been accepted in to the summer term, for which they applied, with SAT scores in the mid 1100’s. The big difference is their GPA’s were higher. They were in the 4.1-4.4 range weighted and 3.5-3.7 range unweighted. There are quite a few articles out there stating how low the applications are right now. The most recent is in the Orlando Sentinel. You never know!!! Good luck!
