UCF Housing & Recommendations?

Hi everyone, I was accepted in UCF for the Fall 2019 term for their Engineering program. I just got the acceptance last week (after MONTHS of waiting) and I’m pretty excited!

I was FINALLY able to access my housing portal after sorting everything out with the admissions office and I’m afraid that there is no housing left at UCF because it took so long to process my application (I’m looking at Neptune or Lake Claire but I am not sure yet).
UCF Engineering majors/First-year students - what dorms do you all recommend for the first year? I’m looking at Neptune mainly because of the learning communities and also because I got a letter about the LEAD Scholar program yesterday, but nothing is set in stone yet.
Does anyone know what housing is still left? I checked the portal and it says “Fall 2019 Returner and non-first year lottery applications for Academic Main, Towers at Knights Plaza, and NorthView are closed; Join the waitlist by starting an application.”

I cannot determine whether or not I will go to UCF until I get the financial aid package from the school, which the office told me will be sometime next week, but just in case I DO choose UCF, I want to know what dorm I should look for when signing up for housing asap!

The towers and Northview are only closed for students who are living there next year and are students now. If you apply for towers now you should get it if thats where you want to live
