I was selected for the Burnett Honors College at UCF and have been admitted to FSU and am hoping that I am also selected for their honors program. If I am admitted to both, which one should I choose? Do either have any outstanding differences? Any feedback or suggestions would be great.

Typically universities which feature an Honors “College” as opposed to an Honors “Program” compensate for the overall academic weakness of the university by concentrating resources in an Honors “College” in attempt to attract better students.

More accomplished universities don’t need to do this, as they have better resources in all academic departments, and thus an honors program for freshman enrichment is enough.

One thing more - Florida State, through its [Honors Program](http://honors.fsu.edu/) and [associated programs](http://onf.fsu.edu/), has had more Rhodes Scholars and Rhodes finalists that any other university in Florida in the last ten years or so.
