UCF or Rollins?

So the may 1st commitment deadline is quickly approaching and I still can't decide which school. Either college would be the honors programs. I want to major in Literature, get my phd, and hopefully become a professor. Any insight into the English department at either school would be appreciated. What are the classes like? I am especially concerned with the networking possiblilities and the accessability of the professors. As a literature major I think connections are especially important. I have heard Rollins' professors are very open to working with motivated students, well connected, and approachable. How are UCF's and the Burnett Honors College's? For a job that relies so heavily on who you know, will UCF offer me enough opportunities and networking or would it be better to pay a little extra for Rollins?

Basically any insight on either honors program, the professors, the networking and connecting opportunities, and the english departments would be greatly appreciated!

I would go with UCF, considering you got into the Honors college and I hear nothing but praise for it (personally did not like the staff there, but that’s another story). I believe UCF Honors will provide more connection then Rollins and since it’s cheaper and you want to get your PHD, then I would defiantly go UCF. Hope this helps a little :)

thanks for the reply i appreciate it  do you go to UCF? and also, would you mind elaborating on why you didnt like the honors college staff? Obviously everyone has their preferences but since my goal would eventually be to go to grad school/teach etc, helpful professors that I can get to know personally and who can write me good rec letters and maybe even set me up for teaching jobs are important to me.
Also, do you know anything about the class sizes for the honors college?
