UCF Summer 2017 Applicant..What are my chances ?!

I have recently applied to the University of Central Florida (my top choice) and I was wondering if anyone could give me some input on my acceptance chances!!

Applied for: Summer 2017 semester as a “Nurse Pending Student”

(W)GPA- 3.82

SAT- 1110

College Credit Hours- 16

Involved in several clubs and actives, first generation college student, graduating a year above average pace with 16 DE credit hours, also earned volunteer hours by working as a teaching assistant and going on a seven day mission trip to mexico with my church.

I am graduating high school a year ahead of everyone else with the same number of credits as a normal senior student, I wrote a great application essay and also submitted three letters of recommendation. My application was submitted almost two months ago but my SAT scores were not received until a little over a week ago. How are my chances? How soon do you think I should hear back? UCF is my top choice, I am ridiculously nervous!!

I think you’re a pretty solid candidate for it! I got in for fall with a 4.2 W GPA and a 1300 on the SAT, so you should be fine for summer! Good luck.

Thank you ! your scores are much higher than mine so im still alittle nervous but hopefully all goes well. How long did it take for them to notify you of your acceptance?

UCFsummer, it seems the school’s stats for admitted students have been rising every year as admissions get more and more competitive. I view you as a solid candidate, though, and having 1st generation status will also tip the scales in your favor. That plus your strong essay should be enough to get you in. Crossing my fingers for you!

I’d expect a decision within three weeks or so, certainly by the end of March. Good luck!
