Hi everyone. Should I apply for Summer or Fall 2013?

definitely fall, sooo you can have one last summer to rest lol

I’ll be sending my application early for UCF. I wish you all luck!

Maybe a dumb question but if my grades are “marginal” would it benefit me to apply twice? Fall 2013 and Summer 2013? I’d prefer Fall but would go summer if thats the only way to get in.

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to wish you all luck through the application process. After getting everything together, as well as sent in, you’re going to feel so accomplished. However, I will be bluntly honest and say the hardest part is waiting to hear back from the college-especially if it’s your top choice (For some of you, maybe even your only choice, depending on how set you are on the college). Just try to be patient, keep checking your account, but don’t let it get to you. They will get back to you-some of you earlier then others-so keep that in mind. Remember, the earlier you apply, the better your chances of gaining acceptance. Remember to stay on top of your classes and grades your senior year. Even if you are accepted, it’s very important to keep those grades up, because UCF has every right to pull the admission of a student they see as ‘Slacking off’. This will be a very difficult process for you all, as it can be very emotionally draining. However, just have confidence in yourself, and the things you achieve throughout high school. Never compare yourself (Stats or EC’s) to other individuals on here, because you are all completely different people-you cannot be compared, and you are not simply a number. You’re a real person, with real strengths and weakness, and UCF will consider every aspect. Just keep calm, ENJOY your senior year, an have a little faith. The best advice I can give-if it’s meant to happen, it will happen. If not, it’s just not the rout you’re supposed to take, and there is nothing wrong with that. There’s just different things planned for you. For those of you who do gain acceptance, and decide to attend-UCF is an amazing school, with amazing academics, social life, professors and students. I had such a great time during summer term, and am not onto fall of freshmen year, and already know that I’m meant to be here-and some of you will be too. Good luck to all of you-GO KNIGHTS!:)

I actually suggest applying for summer term, if you have fairly average grades/test scores. Honestly, summer term was an AMAZING time. I know many fall students now who wish they had just applied to summer term. Because while you’re sitting at home, a huge group of other students are already in college, meeting new people, getting started in classes, etc. It’s one of the smartest choices I’ve ever made, and I’m so glad I did it. I came into fall much more prepared then those who didn’t start in summer:)

Out of curiosity did anyone get a decision? I know it’s early but i’m freaking out cause I only have 3.4 GPA and 1600 SAT score!! Or dose anyone know when they start sending out decisions?

On UCF’s website they said that they start reviewing applications September 15th. Mine in already complete, I just need to send my Dual Enrollment Transcripts and I’m set!

Hey guys,

I’m trying to apply for Fall 2013 right now and was wondering if any of you knew how to include CLEP credits in the application? I have 12 I need to report to meet my full 60 credits.

Also, I’m guessing everyone typed the essay here too since I can assume it’s pretty important?

Thanks a lot guys, tryin to send this in as soon as I can!

Just about finished with my application, but I can’t find anywhere to fill out the essays on it… When I click review and submit everything’s done except the “Essay” section is blank. Anyone know where to type the essay in the application?

Thanks.

Seems like nobody has heard anything lately. I wonder when they start doing the full wave of admission decisions.

When I go to myucf now it asks me to accept or decline does this mean I am accepted???

take a screen shot

Haven’t heard back about summer 2023 yet, anyone know why?

Okay so I was accepted to UCF for the summer term instead of starting in the fall, which I am extremly excited about! I am just confused as to when I would start for the summer. I saw that there are differnet Summer starts such as the A B C and such, but I would want Summer B. Am I automatically in Summer B or is there something else I should do?!

Katie-All freshmen accepted for Summer are put into the ‘Summer B Term’. I attended Summer B this past summer. While they may have changed the dates a little, it should stay around the same time. I started classes, as well as all other Summer B students, on June 22nd, I believe. I continued on until the last day of classes, which was August 3rd. So you would be in there almost a month and a half or so.
