<p>Hello everyone, I'm currently in the process of applying to UCF as a transfer student from a FL community college for the Fall 2014.
I am concerned about the essay...the application didn't give me the option to write it at all. Only the employment information for the last 2 years was available :\
And at the end, when I reviewed the application, there was an Essay section left in blank since I wasn't able to actually write one. I was hoping there would also be a section in order to write about extracurricular activities...but there was none, at least in the one presented to me.
Has anyone else had this problem?? I know it's not required to submit an essay but is recommended so that's why I was kinda worried about it.
Thanks everyone :)</p>
<p>:( no one?? :(</p>
<p>don’t worry, as an applying transfer student you are not required to write an essay. as a matter of fact, towards the end of the application, right before you submit it, at the top it indicates to you that you will see parts that weren’t shown to you, but that’s because it didn’t pertain to you. only first year students are required. you’re good.</p>
<p>EDIT: also, i know it’s recommended, but in this case, UCF doesn’t really need it, that’s why when you apply as a transfer student, they don’t let it show the section to you, because it’s sort of NOT required, so don’t stress it.</p>
<p>Thank you so much nickcastt !!! Yes, at the end I noticed that part that you mentioned.
I already submitted my application without the essay and sent my transcripts.</p>
can you transfer with an associate of science instead of an associate of arts?
