Hey! I applied to UCF as a senior in high school for Fall 2020 with some pretty low stats and got rejected.
GPA: 2.92
SAT: 1140
yikes, I know
Anyways, I am reapplying now as a transfer student for Fall 2021, and these are my new stats.
Collegiate GPA: 3.66 (From my first semester at university)
High School GPA After Senior year Ended: 3.35 (From getting straight A’s after rejection)
I also passed their college-level math and writing requirements already in the fall with a grade ‘A’ for writing and a grade ‘B’ for math.
On my transcript I was listed as “Dean’s List Designation” and I have 19 credit hours officially, but after spring, I will have 36 total transferrable credits to bring to UCF in the fall.
I’m so nervous I may get rejected again, I setup a virtual meeting with a UCF admission counselor and she said that I appeared to be a strong candidate.
Does anyone have any feedback on whether you think I’m strong enough to be accepted or rejected again? Thank you so much!
