Really MarshMehlow? Hopefully I’ll hear back soon… It’s been two weeks today since they received my transcripts. If I don’t hear from them by the time I get back from spring break (I’m at home in Orlando right now, my mail is sent to my dorm in Tallahassee), then I’m going to call the admissions office.

I’m still waiting to see if I got in…should I email them? Its been a month and a half.

After a week and a half of sending in my reactivation application, myUCF portal read:

"Congratulations! You have been offered admission to UCF for the Fall 2011 term. Your acceptance is contingent upon earning a minimum of a 2.0 gpa from your last institution attended, as well as overall. You may now register for orientation at [UCF First Year Experience - (407) 823-5105](http://www.orientation.ucf.edu).
We look forward to you joining us at UCF! "

I’m currently a freshman at University of Tampa (my credits classes me as a Sophomore though). My GPA for Fall 2010 was 3.8 and I am a Psychology major.

My exam scores were nothing special:
ACT 22

SATI
Highest Math Score 570
Highest Verbal Score 550
Highest Writing Value 540
Total - 1120

As a freshman at UT, I had two jobs on campus (Volunteer Coordinator and Office Assistant), 70+ hours of community service, Co-Founder\Co-Captain of UT’s first field hockey club, and President of PEACE (Our volunteer club on campus). Also had a UCF Alumni as a teacher send in a letter of rec.

I’m ecstatic and CANNOT wait to transfer!

:)

Yes, I would contact the admissions department if it has been longer than a month. Before doing so, log in to your UCF portal at my.ucf.edu and check your Undergraduate Admissions status, to make sure they aren’t missing anything necessary to give you the go-ahead on admission. I did NOT receive an e-mail when I was accepted, but I did receive a paper notification in the mail about a week after my UCF portal listed the acceptance.

For transfer students who have yet to receive their AA degree, you cannot be accepted on the basis of being an AA transfer student until UCF has an official transcript stating that you have received your AA. I applied in December 2010 with a preliminary transcript, received my AA in late December 2010, mailed in the updated transcript (with AA) in mid-January 2010, and was accepted a little over a month later.

can you transfer to ucf with an associate of science instead of an associate of arts?
