Hi, I am currently a senior in HS and I was wondering if, when transferring credits from my local CC to UF/UCF, do they count the credits or the grades? For example, If I received one A and one B would it impact my college GPA or would the grades just be counted as credits? thank you

i have the same exact question

They count the credits, the grades will not be included in your UF/UCF GPA.

I’m at UF right now, and my community college credits transferred. College is different than high school in that you have multiple GPAs being calculated. I have a UF GPA which only includes grades from classes I take at UF. But I also have an overall GPA which does include the grades I got at community college.
The advisor told me that if the course code of a class matches the course code of the same class at the university, then it will transfer. For example, I took College Algebra at a community college, and their code for it was MAC 1105. College Algebra at UF is also MAC 1105, so it transferred. Some classes though, like sciences, have different codes, so they might not transfer.
