UCF vs. FSU vs. UF

As I think about these UF, FSU, UCF, I am torn as to which I would choose - if accepted. I genuinely liked all 3 when I visited. My major is psychology (not sure my undergrad will really matter?). All schools have improv teams, which is important to me. I know UF’s is premier. Part of my criteria is what the town has to offer. I would love to hear other’s thoughts on pros/cons or factors you would suggest I consider. Thanks!

As a parent of two sons who have just recently gone through this process, my advice is to visit each school and see if you can speak with students who are psychology majors and ideally those students who are currently active in the improv group. As a UF alum, I was hopeful my boys would love my school, and both did, but when they visited, each chose a different school to attend for different reasons. My current high school senior chose UCF over UF because when he walked the campus, met students, and spoke with advisers, he felt “at home” there. Choosing a university is a very personal decision. The more information you can gain by visiting, eating at the dining halls, and visualizing yourself as a student there, in my opinion, the better. Oh, and see if you can attend an improv show while you’re there! You’ll know it when you find your place. Best of luck to you in the process!

Thanks - We do need to revisit the schools and plan to do so. I agree with the “at home” feeling as the biggest indicator.
