Hi. I am just wondering how are the Jewish communities at UCF and USF. I am debating between these two universities, and this is a big part of my decision. I still have yet to visit them, as I am a Junior, but this factors into my choice.
Thanks!

UF has a very large Hillel (Lipoff Hall), right across from the Florida Field. Reach out to them with any questions you may have about Jewish life at UF.

UF has the largest Jewish population of any public university in the USA.
On the other hand, while USF does not having nearly as large a population as UF, Tampa (outside of the Hillel) has a well established Jewish community (of about 25,000; larger than Orlando or Jacksonville). Hillels supports several schools in the area, including USF, Eckerd College, New College of Florida, Ringling College, and University of Tampa.

Try to visit both Hillel’s while in town.
Good Luck!
