UCF Waitlisted 2015

I was recently waitlisted by UCF for Fall 2015. I applied early decision in October and was told I wouldn’t hear a decision until sometime in May. What are my chances? Has this happened to anyone else?

I am an in state student and I applied for the Digital Media program with a focus on Game Development

You are 25th% for your SATs and only 5th percentile for GPA. These are the two most important factors, along with rigor of classes and your essay. They might accept you after the May 1 date passes (when all accepted students must make their final decision.)

Do you have mostly honors and AP classes on your transcript (rigor of classes)?

UCF has limited housing and they will be completely full by May 1.

What is your backup plan?
