Essay:
I believe my essay was great. I spent days working on it and even asked my AP Lit teacher to check it for me several times until we agreed it was perfect.
Recommendations:
I sent 3 and they were all great. I didn’t send in one from my guidance counselor though. Should I send that one in?
Community Service:
Pregnancy Center, School, Church, Student Council Activities (To keep it short)
I am not sure of the exact number of community service but, it is well over 100 hours.
Sports:
I was a JV Cheerleader for 2 years (9,10)
Clubs:
I am a liaison for Student Council
NAHS
Anime Club
Literary Magazine
Work:
I only had one summer job. It was not a fabulous job that would stand out but, it was a job.
Other:
I took mostly honors courses and I only took 1 AP.
I have received honor roll numerous times.
I am Out of State (NJ)
I sent a letter stating how the school is my first choice and recent accomplishments.
I sent in my deposit for another school already just in case I am denied admission I have a back up plan.
I have not lost hope and I pray each day hoping my prayers will be answered.
I would like to know my chances or what else I can do to be admitted.
I understand my SAT scores are low and I already asked my parents if I can retake them but, I received a no. I feel it would be too late to retake them now anyway.
Please let me know if you would like to know any more information.
